COVID-19 Catch-up Premium
The government has announced £1 billion of funding to support children and young people to catch up lost time after school closures during the Coronavirus pandemic. £650 million of this funding has been earmarked for a one-off catch-up premium during the 2020/21 academic year to ensure schools have the support they need to help all students make up for lost teaching time.
Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is a fund provided by the Department for Education (DfE) for publicly funded schools in England. The fund is used to raise the attainment of disadvantaged students and close the gap between them and their peers. Funding is provided for each student registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years.
We have produced a report outlining the funds we receive, how they were distributed over the last academic year and what our plans are for the current academic year. Should you require any further information please contact us.

16-19 Tuition Fund Statement
The 16 to 19 tuition fund is a £96 million one-off fund for the 2020 to 2021 academic year only. It is ring-fenced funding for schools, colleges and all other 16 to 19 providers to support small group tuition for 16 to 19 students in English and/ or maths. The funding will be used to support students who did not achieve a grade 4 or above in English and/ or maths by age 16.

We will use this funding to support students who have not yet achieved a grade 4 in English and/or maths at GCSE. Tuition Support offered will be based on an individual needs assessment, the identification of an individual starting point, clear learning goals, expectations and outcomes.
